PEKIN, Ill. – The Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office says two people are dead, and one person is in custody after a shooting at a residence near the Pekin Municipal Airport.
Sheriff Jeffrey Lower says the incident happened around 4:50 a.m. Thursday, just off Route 29 in South Pekin.
Officers were called to the scene around 6 a.m. The incident is under investigation.
More details are expected to come later on Thursday.
