PEORIA, Ill. – Two Peoria schools were on brief lockdowns after Peoria Police say a man was shot nearby.
The shooting prior to 2:30 p.m. Friday happened near Griswold and Krause.
Police say the man is in serious but stable condition at a local hospital, and that their investigation continues.
Annie Jo Gordon Community Learning Center and Trewyn Middle School were on lockdowns that were lifted after about a half-hour.
