EAST PEORIA, Ill. – Ground is officially being broken on what’s being called a luxury apartment complex in East Peoria.
“Blutowne” is expected to be complete around Fall, 2025, and will be in the Levee District. Tenants will start moving in to apartments in Spring, 2025.
The $65 million project will include 219 apartments where rent will range between $1,500 and $3,000 a month.
There also will be 10,000 square feet of retail space.
“This development is a major step in increasing quality of life initiatives throughout East Peoria,” said Mayor John Kahl, to 25 News. “My administration’s goal is to create a vibrant community that is attractive to residents, while driving economic development efforts forward for our city, and this luxury complex will do just that.”
