PEORIA, Ill. – A Pekin man was arrested early Friday morning after being spotted by Peoria Police reportedly removing parts from a reported stolen vehicle from Morton.
Officers approached 54-year-old William J. Thompson and took him into custody.
Thompson was reported to have burglary tools in his possession.
He was arrested on charges of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Theft of Parts and Accessories, and Possession of Burglary Tools.
Thompson was taken to the Peoria County Jail.
