PEORIA, Ill. – Two males were arrested on multiple drugs and weapons charges Tuesday afternoon in Peoria.
Peoria Police says a search warrant was executed at a house in the area of Grand Blvd. and Crestwood Dr. just after 4:30 P.M.
Once inside the house, officers located and seized a large amount of cannabis, drug packaging, drug equipment, money, two firearms, and ammunition.
21-year-old Matthew Buford and 24-year-old Kobe Johnson were taken into custody and questioning, and arrested after.
Buford was arrested on charges of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of a Firearm with a Valid FOID Card, Unlawful Possession with Intent to Deliver, and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.
Johnson was arrested on charges of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of a Firearm with a Valid FOID Card, and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.
Both Buford and Johnson were taken to the Peoria County Jail, but both have since been released.
