PEORIA, Ill. – A downtown Peoria coffee shop is closing its doors for good.
thirty-thirty Coffee announced in an Instagram post on Wednesday that Sunday, June 25th, will be its final business day.
The coffee shop at Main and William Kumpf has been open since October 11, 2011.
“We have served a lot of coffee in the last 11+ years, and I hope we also served our purpose. The purpose was never coffee. The purpose was always and is always YOU! We’ll never know how many people we have touched, but I hope it’s always been for the better. We’ll never know how many conversations have taken place in our shops, but I hope they’ve been loving,” the shop said in its post.
There was no word in the post explaining the reasoning behind the closure.
