PEORIA, Ill. – More apartments are coming to the downtown Peoria area.
The Baldovin Development Company said they’ve started construction on 90 residential apartments on SW Adams and Oak Streets in the Warehouse District.
The apartments being built will be a combination of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom residences. Some of the features in the apartments include high ceilings, expansive windows, and open-concept living spaces. The site will have indoor and outdoor surface parking.
In addition to the apartments, the building will also host commercial tenants. B-D-C announced that Architectural Design Group and Edward Jones will be the first commercial tenants in the building. It added that more space is available, including a restaurant space with adjoining rooftop space.
A timeline on when the apartments will be complete was not available.
