CANTON, Ill. – A Pekin man was arrested in Fulton County over the weekend on drug and stolen vehicle charges.
Canton Police say Justin Norman, 41, was taken to jail after a report of a suspicious vehicle at a Casey’s location in the city around 2:00 a.m. Sunday.
Authorities say the vehicle Norman was in turned out to be stolen from Creve Coeur, and a trailer he was pulling was reported stolen from Peoria County. The vehicle also allegedly had methamphetamine in it.
Norman — in addition to being wanted on a parole violation from the Department of Corrections — is being charged with two counts of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Possession of Methamphetamine, and a Class-X felony charge of Delivery of Methamphetamine.
He’s awaiting an initial court appearance.
