EAST PEORIA, Ill. – Would a brand new, limited edition, 70th anniversary 2023 Chevrolet Corvette entice you into throwing some financial support behind the new, under construction, Levee Park in East Peoria?
The East Peoria Community Foundation is hoping it will, thanks to a raffle for such a vehicle, and the donation of it from Uftring Chevrolet.
“To purchase a ticket, just go to WinYourCorvette.com,” said Sue Portscheller, East Peoria Community Foundation. “Tickets are $100, and we’re only selling 2,500 tickets. So your chances of winning are very, very good.”

Portscheller says the proceeds will go toward the $900,000 needed for the third and final phase of the construction of Levee Park.
“Levee Park will provide space for community gatherings and become the new iconic face of East Peoria — green, growing, and family-friendly,” said Portscheller.
Portscheller says the raffle has the possibility of raising about a quarter of the money needed.
