PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria’s long-planned soccer team will officially launch later this year.
The owners and management of the Peoria City soccer team, described as “pre-professional,” have been delayed the last two years by COVID-19, but say they’ll debut in the United Soccer League’s League Two, in the Deep South Division, this summer.
The season schedule is set to come out a week from Thursday, with home games at Bradley University’s Shea Stadium.
Peoria City Managing Partner describes the team as having “the best young soccer talent in the top amateur league in North America on the path to pro!” CLICK HERE for the team’s website.
