CANTON, Ill. – The Fulton County Coroner has released more details surrounding the death of a five-month-old girl that resulted in a Canton woman being charged with murder.
Steve Hines says young Emery Lyons was found unresponsive Thursday inside her home, at which time one of the parents called 911.
She was pronounced dead at a Canton hospital around 6:15 p.m. — after Hines says authorities tried to revive young Emery for an hour.
Hines won’t say what the cause of death is, but says it is being investigated as a homicide, and foul play was involved.
Joslynn Graham, 23, was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with First-Degree Murder, and remains jailed.
