WASHINGTON, Ill. — A 39-year-old Washington man was arrested Thursday night on three gun charges stemming from a domestic argument.
East Peoria Police Officers were called at 7:40 to the 400 block of Bittersweet Rd. on reports a man had fired a gun into a carload of people following a verbal argument.
Witnesses said a group of people arrived at Ryan Tucker’s house to speak with him. That’s when the argument ensued, and Tucker allegedly fired his gun at the car and at the ground.
The car drove to safety at a home on Bess St. No one was hurt.
Tucker was charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm, aggravated assault, and criminal damage to property, and taken to Tazewell County Jail.
