PEORIA, Ill. — A popular Country music festival is making its way back to Peoria in 2021.
According to a press release on Sunday, Tailgate N’ Tallboys organizers said the festival will be adding an additional weekend at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex June 3 and 4.
“We are excited Tailgate N’ Tallboys is able to return to Peoria and look forward to providing a first-class venue and experience,” Rick Gaa, vice president of the sports complex, said.
“It will be a great event to kickoff what promises to be another busy summer at Louisville Slugger Sports Complex,” Gaa added.
The Peoria Riverfront hosted the event from 2017-2019 before it left for South Fork Park in Taylorville this year.
Organizers are still planning for a weekend event in Taylorville July 29-30.
Information about ticket sales and the entertainment lineup will be announced at a later date.
