PEORIA Heights, Ill. – A local restaurant shuts down temporarily due to a staff member testing positive for COVID-19.
The Publik House announced on Monday they are voluntarily closing for a short time.
The restaurant stated they will meet the compliance with all safety guidelines, and will reopen as protocol allows.
A Facebook post read “During this time we will be working with our staff to determine what steps need to be taken to ensure their safety and the safety of our guests moving forward.”
The staff member is currently in quarantine.
