PEORIA, Ill. – Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco will make another stop in Peoria next year as part of his ‘That Ain’t Right’ tour, which he says will be his biggest yet, with new material, a new stage and the same attitude.
The Peoria show is scheduled for Friday, December 13, 2024 in the Peoria Civic Center’s Carver Arena.
Civic Center General Manager Rik Edgar tells WMBD’s “Greg and Dan”, with Maniscalco’s popularity, Peoria’s lucky to have gotten a weekend show… and that it’s common for comedians like him to be booking their shows a year in advance due to their schedules.
“He’s got a Netflix special, I believe he’s got a movie and I believe he’s going to be doing some network stuff. So, there is a very big bet that he’s ready to bust with a big arena tour all over the country,” Edgar says.
Edgar adds, Peoria’s been lucky to bring so many rising comedy stars to town.
“We just think about the folks that we’ve helped launch…Taylor Tomlinson comes here and sells out, and everyone is like…who is she? And, now she’s going to be the new host of the ‘12:30 Show’ after Colbert, and Shane Gillis sold out on the on-sale…so we’re just so excited for this one…and we have some others coming,” Edgar says.
