PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police say a second person has been arrested in connection with a shooting more than a month ago.
Peoria Police say Jimmy Williams, Jr., 20, was arrested Thursday on charges of Aggravated Battery with a Firearm, Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, and in an unrelated case, Armed Robbery.
The shooting happened July 15th near Gale and Institute Place. A 26-year-old male was shot and left in critical condition. No word on the man’s condition now.
Just Thursday, police said a 16-year-old boy turned himself in on several weapons charges in this case.
Williams – who remains jailed – was also found to be wanted on two warrants.
