PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria County Grand Jury met Tuesday and filed charges in several local cases.
Lester Hadsell, 81, West Peoria, is charged with a felony count of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse. Some details in the indictment are redacted, but it says Hadsell allegedly had sexual contact with someone under the age of 13 around June 11th.
Hadsell is out of custody, and is scheduled to be arraigned July 20th.

The grand jury is indicting Braylan Walls, 20, with two counts of Aggravated Assault, and counts of Criminal Damage to Government-Supported Property and Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding.
Walls was arrested June 28th while police were on a call of trouble with a male. He allegedly fled the scene, striking several parked cars in the process including a squad car, before hitting another car later on. One driver suffered minor injuries.
Walls is jailed on$100,000 bond, and will be arraigned two weeks from Thursday.

A grand jury this week formally charged Jahbrae Harper, 18, with Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
Harper’s car was pulled over June 15th near Webster and Howett. Drugs allegedly belonging to Harper’s father Aubrae were found inside, along with the teen’s suspected gun.
Jahbrae Harper will be arraigned Thursday and is jailed, while Aubrae Harper was given a notice to appear in court.
