PEORIA, Ill. – One of the operations of Carle Health in Peoria is on the move.
Carle says what was the Inpatient Rehabilitation Center at Methodist Hospital will move to Proctor Hospital as of Thursday.
Carle officials say the move to what was Proctor’s Transitional Care Center on the Fourth Floor will be a better space that will provide better care and better providing of patient needs.
“Like many other health systems, we are always evaluating how to best serve our community, while ensuring our team members have the resources and support they need to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care,” according to a Carle Health news release.
No interruption in service is expected, as the closure of the Methodist facility coincides with the opening of Proctor’s Comprehensive Physical Rehab Center.
