PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria priest is in trouble with the law — accused of driving drunk over the weekend.
Jeremy Freehill, 36, was arrested Saturday morning, facing charges of Driving Under the Influence, Operating an Uninsured Vehicle, and Speeding, according to jail records, arrested by Illinois State Police.
25 News reports Freehill is listed as the priest for Saint Ann’s Catholic Church on South Louisa Street, having been there since 2021.
He’s next scheduled to be in court June 27th, after posting bond to be released from jail.
