EAST PEORIA, Ill. – The cause of a fire at an East Peoria single-family house Thursday morning is under investigation.
The East Peoria Fire Department says they responded to the fire in the area of Johnson and Main Streets at around 8:42 A.M.
The occupants of the home were not inside it at the time of the fire.
There were no injuries to any firefighters.
Fire Chief Bobby Zimmerman says damage is estimated at around $35,000.
