TAZEWELL COUNTY, Ill. – Authorities in Tazewell County have released the name of the victim in Saturday morning’s fatal accident on Interstate 74.
Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley says preliminary autopsy results on Tammy Odom, 50, of Peoria, show she died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in a single vehicle accident.
Hanley says Odom was pronounced dead around 6:05 a.m. at the scene of the crash on Eastbound 74 near Mile Marker 107, inbetween Morton and Deer Creek.
Details on the accident itself, first reported at 5:13 a.m. Saturday, still haven’t been released.
Hanley says toxicology testing on Odom is still pending.
