PEORIA, Ill. – A Washington man has been indicted by a grand jury on charges accusing him of opening fire on a vehicle in Peoria about a month ago.
The grand jury is charging Billy Delasso, 32, with Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, and Possession of a Weapon by a Felon. Other weapons and Child Endangerment charges he was arrested on were not filed.
Police say Delasso shot at an occupied car on Warner Lane in the Warehouse District October 3rd.
Jail records indicate Delasso has been arrested a host of times since 2007, and was convicted of a weapons count in 2009, making him ineligible to own a gun.
Delasso remains jailed, and is scheduled to be arraigned next Thursday.
