DAVENPORT, Ia. – The sidelined CEO of Pekin’s Reditus Labs is out of custody again, after being arrested Friday for allegedly violating the terms of his pre-trial release on federal mail fraud and false tax return charges stemming from before he started Reditus.
Aaron Rossi was arrested in Galesburg Friday on a federal warrant, after having previously tested positive for marijuana, in violation of his release.
Rossi, his attorneys claim, was reportedly taking marijuana-infused gummi’s so he could sleep.
Court records indicate Rossi appeared in federal court in the Quad Cities Monday, where Rossi’s release was modified so that he could not obtain CBD products in any form.
Rossi will be back in a Davenport, Iowa courtroom November 17th for a status hearing.
