WOODFORD COUNTY, Ill. – An investigation continues into a crash in rural Woodford County Saturday afternoon that claimed the life of a resident of Metamora.
25 News reports the Woodford County Coroner has identified the victim as Lowell Baker, 84.
The accident happened near the intersection of Illinois 116 and Hickory Point Road, southwest of Metamora.
The coroner says multiple blunt force injuries caused Baker’s death, but that toxicology tests are pending.
People in another vehicle are believed to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
