PEKIN, Ill. – A Tazewell County man is going to prison for four years after pleading guilty to an accident that claimed the life of a Pekin Woman.
Court records indicate Jesse St. Clair, 45, pleaded guilty Friday to Aggravated Driving Under the Influence and Driving on a Suspended License, and was given the sentence in exchange.
St. Clair was driving his vehicle on Springfield Road south of Groveland in December of 2019 when it crossed the center line and struck a vehicle driven by Kaitlyn Guard, 20, of Pekin, killing her.
St. Clair allegedly had drugs in his system at the time of the crash.
