PEORIA, Ill. — A Bradley University student suffered a minor injury after reportedly being stabbing off-campus early Wednesday morning.
A community advisory alert said Bradley and Peoria Police responded to the report of a person stabbed in the 1700 block of W. Callendar Avenue, near the intersection with N. Cooper Street — five blocks south of W. Main Street and six blocks west of N. University Street.
Bradley Police said the incident did not appear to be random.
The student was taken to OSF Saint Francis for medical treatment.
Police told news partner 25 News that the suspect was only described as a male.
An investigation is ongoing.
