PEORIA, Ill. – Two of three people charged in the shooting death of a Manual High School student have pleaded not guilty.
Peoria County Circuit Court records indicate Gary Irby III, 19, and Jeremy Moore, Jr., 18, made the pleas during arraignment hearings Wednesday on charges of First-Degree Murder and Aggravated Battery.
The two are among those accused of shooting and killing Jerry Snipes, Jr., 17, October 6th near Linn Street and Corrington Avenue.
They’ll be back in court in January, ahead of a potential trial as early as February.
A third suspect — a juvenile female — also faces similar murder charges.
Irby and Moore, meanwhile, remain jailed on $2.5 million bond each.
