PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Fire officials say a late-morning brush fire that caused some problems on Interstate 74 may be intentional.
The brush fire was first reported around 10:30 A.M. Thursday on the interstate near Sterling Avenue.
Assistant Fire Chief Shawn Sollberger told our news partner 25 News that while the fire could be intentionally set, an investigation is continuing.
No one was hurt, and the fire was under control in about 20 minutes.
