PEORIA, Ill. — The Peoria Civic Center is welcoming patrons back for the first time in roughly 500 days…with events at Carver Arena and the Civic Center Theater.
In order to keep everyone safe and speed up the process for entry, the venue is implementing a few new policies.
Civic Center Marketing Manager Kelsy Martin said when it comes to masks, they are recommended, but, the venue is not requiring anyone who’s been fully vaccinated to wear one.
“But, we ask if you are not fully vaccinated to please wear a face covering at all times,” Martin said.
Another significant change is the Civic Center’s new clear bag policy.
“If you have a plastic bag that’s smaller than 12 x 12 x 6, or even a gallon-sized Zip lock bag, that’s perfectly fine. You’re also allowed to bring in a small clutch, that’s smaller than 6.5 x 4.5,” Martin said.
The Peoria Civic Center is also enforcing a no-entry policy for Carver Arena and the Civic Center Theater. If you leave the venue for any reason, you will not be able to come back in without purchasing another ticket.
