PEORIA, Ill. — Two juveniles had to be taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation following a Monday morning fire in Peoria’s East Bluff.
The blaze ignited around 11:20 in the attic of 521 E. McClure.
By the time crews responded, one of the occupants had already put it out.
The affected juveniles had gotten out of the home upon crews’ arrival. They were expected to be released from the hospital to which they were taken.
An investigator ruled the incident was unintentional.
