UPDATE 1:30 p.m. — The man found in the woods Tuesday afternoon has been identified by Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood as 39-year-old Antwan Freeman.
A missing persons report was filed regarding Freeman on Sunday with the Peoria Police Department.
Autopsy results are pending, according to Harwood, but no foul play is suspected.

PEORIA, Ill. — A man hunting mushrooms discovered a body Tuesday afternoon in the wooded area of Forrest Hill and Molleck.
Peoria Police took a call at 1:49 regarding the corpse.
Detectives from the criminal investigations division responded and found a man they called “obviously deceased.”
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood was called to the scene.
An autopsy was underway.
