I can’t be the only one that has put on some weight during our month long Sheltering in Place, am I? Please tell me you’ve noticed your pants feeling a little snug as you sit at your desk, or while you try to get down on the floor to play with the kids. Oh, and while I’m at it…am I the only one that cusses that themselves as I’m looking in the fridge or cupboard for something else to snack on?
It’s not really a serious question, but I like to think it is. I’m trying to get some sort of exercise in on a daily basis, even ordered a new set of resistance bands in an effort to prevent complete and total loss of any form of strength I might have left. The new resistance bands…are coming from China and are delayed 8 weeks. (sigh).
The answer to the question of “How Did This Happen” sits in the picture of this blog. I love to snacks…candy, chips, brownies, pretzels, Cheetos, cupcakes, butter (yes butter, don’t judge), and just about anything else I can get my mitts on. “STEP AWAY FROM THE CANDY” I yell to myself as I reach in and delightfully pull out a Twix bar and wonder out loud…how did this happen?
