This last week, I took a lot of pictures. There were pictures of Grace and her mom, Tess and her mom, Keegan, Lisa and Kenzie, Sarah and of course my daughter Becca in our annual picture while on the air together…all pictures taken during our Country Cares For St. Jude Kids Radiothon. Saturday came and pictures of ‘all the girls’, now ‘all the guys’, and ‘how about all the siblings’ during an incredibly loving family gathering. Saturday night was Luke Combs and more pictures of me and Becca and even one with Luke Combs himself. But my favorite picture…this one.
After two very emotional days for St. Jude, we got together for a family photo of our own. That’s Andy on your left…Andy used to work here at The Wolf as ‘Street Team Andy‘, then moved on and eventually landed at ALSAC/St. Jude. John from ‘John & Jaymie’, Wolfie, myself (Dr Chris), Erin (who was always checking on us as she made sure everything moved along without a hitch), Sarah (who you’ve heard on the air before and in videos with me), Jack Riley and Mike Stechman. These people aren’t my immediate family, but they ARE family. We are all part of the St. Jude family, as well as brothers and sisters in broadcasting.
I love these people.
The only thing that could have made this picture better, was if all of you could have been in it as well, because like it or not, I consider you family too.
