With today being ‘National Pie Day’, I suggest we all have pie for dinner..well, dessert. There has been debate on which pie is the best pie of all the pies, today this day I will say any pie my mother makes (that’s why I’m her favorite). This was my first attempt at Peach Pie…a solid attempt, but not my favorite.
Seriously…is Apple or Cherry, maybe Pumpkin or Peach, what about Pecan or Lemon Meringue? Tonight stop by someplace and pick up a piece of pie or two, even more if you have more in the family that might want some…or you’re just extra hungry for a little piece of heaven. I’d like to make a suggestion that everyday be ‘Pie Day’, I do love to celebrate special days!
