Contacts existing and prospective customers to sell radio time for radio broadcasting stations by performing the following duties. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Sales and marketing college degree preferred or equivalent.  At a minimum two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of the two.   Possess the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages and other general mathematical principles.  Valid driver’s license.  Position requires the employee to work at the computer on average of 15% of the time.  This position also requires the employee to travel in a vehicle up to 65% of the time.  Benefits include: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Aflac, 401K, vacation and sick time. Asst. Promotions Manager

JMP Radio Group has an immediate opening for an Asst. Promotions Manager.  This position is responsible for the planning, design and execution of certain station on-air and sales promotions and events, and ideally, this individual will also be able to contribute to an on-air morning show in a sidekick/producer role. Off-air, this individual will be an integral part of both the programming and the sales teams and must be proficient in multi-tasking. Applicants should be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and ideally would possess strong skills in Power Point, Photo Shop, Publisher and data base programs.  Knowledge in website maintenance is also helpful. Need to be detail oriented, organized and a team player.  Previous media experience and a technical background preferred, but not required.  Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs and be willing to work flexible hours, with some nights and regular weekend work required.
